Overview
Seeking an experienced Test Engineer with data visualization and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) experience to support the End-to-End Visualization Team under the Global Solution Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. The role supports DISA’s mission to operate, sustain, and modernize the Defense Information System Network (DISN) and advance DoD network operations through innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with technical leads and Agile teams to define and verify capability requirements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports for visualization tools (Kibana dashboards).
• Conduct integration, regression, and UAT testing for AWS-based visualization frameworks.
• Design and execute tests for data ingestion, processing, and visualization workflows.
• Manage defects using Jira and support Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, demos).
• Ensure test strategies align with evolving development and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications
• Active DoD Secret clearance and Security+ (or equivalent) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years in software testing, including 3+ years with ELK stack and visualization testing.
• Hands-on with Kibana, Elasticsearch APIs, Jira, Confluence, Git, and UAT execution.
• Strong background in Agile, big data systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with automated test frameworks (JUnit, Ansible) and CI/CD DevSecOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS environments, IaC, and Xray Test Management.
• AWS certifications and familiarity with network routing/configurations a plus.
• Strong experience testing open-source data processing systems.
