Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY: Registered Nurse with both administrative and clinical accountability to designated service area. Works with Director to plan budget, staffing needs, and oversee competency of nursing staff. Provides leadership in growth and development of new services in area(s) of clinical supervision. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning, directing, and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the N.H. Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies

SPECIFIC ELEMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Works cooperatively with other services to create a system of quality health care.

2. Determines staffing requirements

3. Assists with interviewing, hiring personnel and disciplinary actions for department

4. Assists director with developing yearly budget and other financial issues such as maintaining PLUS, staffing matrix, and supply management

5. Conducts performance management

6. Provides leadership in growth and development of new services in area(s) of clinical supervision.

7. Provides opportunities for professional development and obtaining and maintaining staffing competency

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse for State of New Hampshire or valid compact state
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• 3-7 years related experience
