Job Description

A contract opportunity is available working with elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) provider. This position supports student success by enhancing communication and participation in classroom activities within a school setting in Aurora, IL. The assignment runs from August 18, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with orientation on August 4 and 5. The role offers a 37.5-hour workweek, with part-time consideration possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate students engagement in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care
• Modify tasks and environments to support individual student needs
• Perform diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate
• Provide clear and insightful reports reflecting student assessments and observations
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and/or accommodations
• Collaborate effectively with parents and educational teams to communicate student progress and identify areas for support

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state license as an SLP or CFY
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility and problem-solving aptitude to meet student needs
