Job Description

A part-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 full school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Everett, WA. This contract position offers 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE) spread across two days, providing specialized PT services to support student needs throughout the school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently within a school environment, delivering physical therapy interventions that enhance student mobility, function, and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students requiring physical therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions and maintain up-to-date treatment records
• Provide guidance on adaptive technology and mobility aids as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license and credentials in Washington State
• Experience providing physical therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously within a school-based team
• Familiarity with IDEA and related regulations regarding school-based therapy services
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school personnel

Location: Everett, Washington
Schedule: 16 hours per week (2 days), full school year 2025-2026
Compensation: $50-$65 per hour, commensurate with experience and independence in a school setting
