Production Operator

*Night Shift: 7pm - 7am; 2-2-3 Schedule; $21 per hour*

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join production of extrusion pipe department in Salt Lake City. This entry-level position involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications. A

Responsibilities

• Utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure the final product meets customer specifications.
• Identify and address any basic abnormalities in the product.
• Perform lifting of products
• Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel while maintaining quality checks.
• Work in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working space.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing and production experience.
• Basic machine operating skills
• Mechanical assembly and aptitude.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Minimum of year of recent manufacturing experience.
• Consistent work history within manufacturing/production.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, mostly climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Embrace a team-oriented environment with a non-climate controlled section. The role involves working a 12-hour shift with alternating schedules of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next, following a 2-2-3 schedule.

Candidate must able to submit to a pre-employment drug and bg check.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
