Job Title - Printing Machine Operator

Onsite Location - Chicago, Illinois

We are seeking an Experienced Printing Machine Operator to join our growing production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing and converting machines to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating printing or converting machinery, demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing and converting machines (Garant, Beasley, Weber, or similar).
• Monitor print quality throughout production, checking registration, ink, color, and glue consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, ink, or plate issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in printing, converting, or packaging operations (flexographic, offset, or related).
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs .
• Experience with bag or paper converting machines preferred.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday
• Day Shift: 6:15 AM – 4:35 PM
• Friday overtime as needed
