The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Conducts medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

\n \n\n \n

• Documents and Charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and procedures
\n \n
• Educates patients, family members, and caregivers about patient deficits
\n \n
• Provides discharge planning assistance and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs
\n \n
• May oversee the care provided by therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards
\n \n\n \n\n

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n

Minimum qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• High school Education or equivalent required
\n \n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
\n \n
• Licensed in applicable state as a Physical Therapist Assistant
\n \n
• Temporary State permit as Physical Therapist Assistant
\n \n\n \n\n
