Overview Job Title: Peoplesoft HCM consultant Location: Montvale, NJ Duration: 1 year Contract Job Description / Requirements The PeopleSoft Functional Analyst (for Peoplesoft HCM, not financial Peoplesoft) is responsible for the analysis, design, code, and testing of new applications in addition to making enhancements to existing applications. The candidate must be proficient in PeopleSoft oriented methodologies with demonstrable experience in all stages of application development life cycle. The candidate will work in a team environment, therefore excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. He or she will be expected to review requirements documents, create functional design documents, and be able to test and document the delivered applications. Additionally, it is expected that the Analyst be knowledgeable of the PeopleTool toolset. Responsibilities Proficient in requirement gathering, performing fit gap analysis (current and future state), creating functional specification documents, and developing business process flow and charts. Knowledgeable in PeopleSoft Core applications, including Base Benefits, Workforce Management, Manager and Employee Self-Service, and Time and Labor. Assist the team in fully integrating the PeopleSoft system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices. Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on business processes or systems. Experience in creating test scripts and test cases for assigned projects and executing these scenarios under testing tool application for quality assurance. Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on business processes or systems. Qualifications Junior: 2+ Years Exp. Intermediate: 5+ Years Exp. Senior: 8+ Years Exp. Five years’ experience including Analysis, Design, Documentation, Development, Implementation and Testing of business application systems in ERP PeopleSoft HCM. Experience using PeopleSoft release 9.2 and PeopleTools release 8.54 and PUM release 12-19 and Peopletools 8.55 Knowledgeable of Application Designer, Import Manager, Security Administration, SQR, PS/Query, Process Scheduler, Application Messaging, and Application Engine. Experience with HP’s Application Lifecycle Management tool (ALM) is a plus.
