Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support our Human Resources department as a Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and organizational skills, be proficient in HR software and systems, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits enrollment.
  • Support the Human Resources team onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee inquiries regarding benefits programs.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate employee time records.
  • Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
  • Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars for senior management.
  • Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory,
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, running errands, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Provide general support to visitors and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:
  • College degree or experience in HR/Administrative role
  • Prior experience in human resource roles is preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
