Title: Host, Le Depot Brasserie

Compensation: $12-18/hr + tips; Benefits available for full-time employees

Location: Le Depot Brasserie; Park City, Utah

Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005, with three primary lines of business: Investments, Real Estate, and Lifestyle. Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.

Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Together, we have developed two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).

Position Overview:

The Host at Le Depot Brasserie will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, and answering phone calls concerning reservations. You will handle guest requests with tact and diplomacy. Your warm and friendly personality will make guests feel welcome and want to return.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a smile and welcome them to the restaurant; seat them accordingly
• Take reservations over the phone and in person while working at the host stand
• Handle any guest requests or complaints with graciousness and cheer.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience as a host in a fine dining restaurant preferred; or 2 years customer service experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Present a positive, professional image.
• Previous experience with Open Table, Toast or Resy preferred

Physical Requirements

• Perform various physical movements throughout the work area
• Stand and walk for extended periods both at the host stand and throughout the restaurant
• Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments
