Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team on a part-time basis (2-4 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have healthcare and/or pharmaceutical experience and will be responsible for reviewing and editing written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines. This role offers a flexible schedule, making it perfect for individuals seeking to balance work with other commitments. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit written content for grammatical, typographical, and stylistic errors.
• Ensure all documents adhere to AMA and APA style guidelines as required.
• Collaborate with writers and editors to refine content and improve overall quality.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving clarity and coherence in written materials.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Must have your own hardware and Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription.
• Experience with Monday.com preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience as a proofreader or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of AMA and APA style guidelines.
• Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Must be available to take projects or calls during the day.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for errors.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
