Job Description

ECommerce Manager

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's online sales strategy to drive revenue growth, enhance user experience, and optimize digital performance. This role oversees all aspects of e-commerce operations, including website management, analytics, logistics coordination, "dark" store management, and cross-functional team leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Management
    • Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals.
    • Identify new online business opportunities and revenue channels.
    • Forecast sales, monitor KPIs, and adjust tactics to meet or exceed targets.
  • Website & Platform Management
    • Oversee the user experience, functionality, and performance of the e-commerce websites.
    • Ensure optimal product presentation, pricing, inventory accuracy, and content.
    • Manage relationships with platform vendors (e.g., InstaCart, UberEats, Door Dash).
  • Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition
    • Lead paid media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate, and influencer campaigns to drive traffic and conversion.
    • Work with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and storytelling.
  • Data & Performance Analysis
    • Monitor and report on KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and ROI.
    • Leverage analytics tools to make informed decisions and optimize the user journey.
  • Team Management & Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, logistics, and IT departments.
    • Ensure seamless integration between the e-commerce platform and inventory, order management, and shipping systems.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any operational issues affecting the online shopping experience.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business preferred in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Successful administrative experience supporting a senior-level management position is preferred.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in the grocery industry is helpful.

Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in omnichannel or direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies.
  • Passion for innovation, digital trends, and customer-centric thinking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, exhibiting confidence, professionalism, poise, and maturity. Team player with strong work ethic; able to work with variety of personality types. Be able to follow oral and written instructions in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail and follow-up. A quick learner with the aptitude to adapt to constantly changing priorities. Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Exceptional multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organization skills are essential to being a successful candidate for this position.

Salary: $90K to $120K annually
