LHH has partnered with an organization in the search for a Director of Finance. Our client seeks a strategic finance leader to oversee the full finance function, including FP&A, accounting, procurement, compliance, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in GAAP, M&A activity, and debt financing while managing a small but high-impact team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Employment Type: Full-time, permanent (W-2)

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning in alignment with organizational goals
• Direct core finance operations, including hands-on operational accounting, FP&A, banking, procurement, government compliance, and audits
• Manage M&A due diligence, debt financing activities, and capital planning
• Implement scalable financial systems and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to support executive decision-making
• Ensure ongoing readiness for audits and government contract compliance

Qualifications:

• Required: U.S. citizenship and current residence in PST or MST at time of applying
• 8+ years of progressive finance/FP&A with leadership responsibilities AND direct, hands-on experience in operational accounting
• Proven success managing financial operations, budgeting, procurement, and audit processes
• Experience with M&A activity, debt financing, and due diligence
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance with U.S. government contracts

Salary & Benefits:

• Base salary up to $170,000
• 20 days PTO + 8 paid holidays
