Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $39.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, code, and process accounts payables and cash receipts to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Process and distribute accounts payable checks while setting up wire transfers as needed.
• Prepare monthly crew settlements for payroll processing and payments to vendors and fishing vessels.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, review discrepancies, and analyze differences for accuracy in reporting.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, with technical skills in general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Demonstrate expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processing.
• Exhibit strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills in financial management.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams and leadership.
• Show proficiency in budget preparation and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning.

• Maintain strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in managing financial processes.
