Description Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join us as an Area Manager. You will lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations by ensuring timely delivery. Our workflow includes: First mile (product housing), Middle mile (transportation), and Last mile (delivery). All workflows vary slightly, but our dedication to the customer remains constant. Key job responsibilities Support, mentor, and motivate your team Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments Collaborate with support teams to meet business goals Lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks Stand/walk for up to 12 hours Work in variable noise and weather conditions Climb and descend stairs as needed Opportunities for growth are available as new Operations sites launch. Hiring depends on location and current openings. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of employee and performance management experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience with performance metrics or process improvement Managing teams of 20+ employees Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma Strong customer service and communication skills Bachelor's or Master's in relevant fields Experience in retail, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
